Day of the Dead Halloween Party at Sotano Bree Street

Mexican style.

Mediterranean inspired Sotano on Bree street offers a splash of colour to brighten your day and burst of flavour to set your taste buds dancing.  From vegetarian to meaty tapas, squid ink risotto, confit duck leg, lamb burger, Spanish paella and more. They also do spectacular sushi – seared, marinated and surfed up – salads, soups, burgers and sea food.

It’s that time of year again when we celebrate all things ghastly and ghoulish – though for the Mexicans it’s quite a happy occasion.

On 26 October, Sotano on Bree is hosting a Day of the Dead Halloween Party from 7pm.

Come and celebrate this ancient Mexican tradition with Don Julio cocktails on arrival, face painters and make-up artists to get you in them and Corona specials. Los Tacos and Strange Loving will be keeping you entertained into the wee hours.

Entry is free until 9pm and those arriving after 10pm without a table booking will be charged a cover fee. A deposit is required for table bookings – book a table for six for R2500 and receive a bottle of Don Julio, Fitch and Leedes Mixers and a light Mexican snack platter. There will be a Mexican themed a la carte menu available.

Reserve your table today to avoid missing out – bookings@sotano.co.za
