A Fondue Feast at The President Hotel

The President Hotel in Bantry Bay is causing a stir with its rich, comforting fondue offer to warm the wintery Cape Town days.

Available for a limited time only, the cheesy fondue features Gruyére and Emmental with a touch of Kirschwasser, garlic, nutmeg and dry white wine.

Choose between vegetable, meat or fish options to dip into the Swiss goodness.

  • Vegetable fondue menu items include roasted tomato, tenderstem broccoli, crumbed mushrooms and tandoori cauliflower.
  • The seafood selection includes sustainably sourced Atlantic line fish, calamari, mussels and more, while the meat board offers a selection of seekh kebabs, pork belly, lemon and herb chicken and seasonal vegetables. All fondue experiences come with fresh, lightly toasted garlic bread to soak up the cheesy goodness.
  • For those who prefer a sweet experience, there’s a chocolate fondue complete with strawberries, brownie, marshmallows, torched banana, honeycomb and angel food cake.

Guests can indulge in any of these gooey hotpots as a lunch date or even a cosy evening rendezvous – we recommend ordering a variety to get a taste of all the dipping delights.
