A Seafood Special at Protea Hotel Balalaika with Prawns, Mussels, and Garlic Butter

Protea Hotel Balalaika is bringing comfort and indulgence together with a seafood special made for guests who believe garlic butter is a valid love language.

Available from May to July at The Bull Run, the Garlic Butter Prawn & Mussel Pot features prawns, mussels, garlic butter, and wine, served as a rich, satisfying dish for R275.

It is simple, generous, and exactly the kind of meal that does not need much convincing.

  • The special suits a relaxed lunch, a dinner with friends, or a midweek treat when something warm and flavour-packed feels like the right answer. With The Bull Run’s polished setting and hearty approach to dining, the dish lands neatly between comfort food and restaurant-worthy indulgence.

Guests can book through Dineplan or contact the restaurant directly.
