A Different Wine Story Each Month at The Fairway Hotel Wine & Dine Series

At The Fairway Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, dinner is getting a thoughtful upgrade. The Wine & Dine evenings at Balata Restaurant are designed as a guided experience, where each course and every glass are paired with purpose.

Priced at R750 per person, the experience centres around a curated three-course menu, matched with wines from some of South Africa’s most recognised estates.

Each evening focuses on a different producer, giving guests a fresh perspective every time they return. The upcoming lineup includes:

  • 22 May 2026 featuring Perdeberg Wines
  • 19 June 2026 featuring Bonnievale Wines
  • 31 July 2026 featuring Boschendal
  • 28 August 2026 featuring Fryer’s Cove

Guests move through each course at a relaxed pace, with wines selected to complement and elevate the flavours on the plate. It’s less about formality and more about discovery, making it ideal for both seasoned wine lovers and those just starting to explore pairings.

Set within the refined setting of Balata Restaurant, the evenings balance elegance with an easy, social atmosphere. It’s the kind of experience that works just as well for a special occasion as it does for a well-planned night out. Seats are limited for each date, and bookings are essential.
