Small Appetite, Big Flavour: The Mussel-licious Menu at De Vette Mossel Parys

Seafood lovers in Parys have something new to look forward to as De Vette Mossel Parys introduces its Mussel-licious menu, a special seafood offering perfect for those who are “not so hungry” but still keen to enjoy great coastal flavours.

Taking place on Saturday, 21 March at 12:30, the event celebrates Human Rights Day with a relaxed seafood experience featuring a curated selection of favourites.

For R95 per person, guests can enjoy a simple but satisfying spread that includes clam meat, clams served in the shell, and freshly baked pot bread with farm butter and jam — a comforting combination that captures the spirit of De Vette Mossel’s laid-back dining style.

  • Those with a slightly bigger appetite can add a few extra treats to the table. Optional extras include 300g calamari steak, catch of the day, whole shrimp, and even kreef for guests wanting to turn the meal into a more indulgent seafood feast.

Please note that only the shortened Mussel-licious menu will be available on the day, meaning the usual full buffet will not be served. With its relaxed atmosphere and coastal-inspired dishes, De Vette Mossel Parys promises a fun and flavourful way to spend the afternoon.

Bookings are essential and can be made via Dineplan, by WhatsApp or calling Amori on 071 049 0672, or by emailing parys@devettemossel.co.za. For anyone craving mussels, seafood and good company, this clam-tastic gathering in Parys is not to be missed. 🦪🍞
