A Valentine’s Feast to Remember: Why Hyatt House Sandton Is the Place to Be!

This Valentine’s Day, romance takes centre stage at Hyatt House Sandton, where love is celebrated with a thoughtfully curated dining experience designed to delight the senses and bring people together.

Guests are invited to slow down, dress up, and savour an evening of elegant flavours in a warm, contemporary setting.

From the first bite to the final sweet indulgence, the Valentine’s Day menu is crafted to encourage sharing, conversation, and those moments that linger long after dessert.

  • The evening begins with a golden, panko-crumbed crispy brie, perfectly paired with marinated wild mushrooms and red onion marmalade. Starters are served as a platter to share, featuring flavourful chicken tikka with curry sauce and garlic naan wedges, alongside delicate springbok carpaccio with herb crostini and pickled red onion.
  • For the main course, guests may choose between a tender balsamic and coriander-marinated fillet served with butternut purée, steamed broccolini, and potato dauphinoise, or a fragrant Moroccan-spiced chicken stuffed with spinach, sun-dried tomato, and feta, complemented by couscous and a lemon thyme sauce. Seafood lovers can also opt for the kingklip linguine, seared and served in a creamy lemon garlic and caper sauce.
  • The experience concludes on a sweet note with a striking dessert platter for two — a playful yet indulgent selection of guavadilla meringue tartlets, dark chocolate caramel macarons, carrot cake with lemon cream cheese frosting, mint-infused berry skewers, and decadent chocolate and vanilla elements designed to be shared.

Priced at R1,100 per person, the evening is not only a celebration of love but also of giving back, with 10% of every transaction supporting the Gift of the Givers Foundation — adding heart to every plate.

Whether celebrating a long-standing romance, a new connection, or simply the joy of good food and great company, Valentine’s Day at Hyatt House Sandton promises an experience that feels meaningful, memorable, and effortlessly romantic.
