It’s time for another Wine Pairing dinner of 2017 at Big Easy Durban Winebar & Grill at Hilton Durban, taking place on Thursday, the 21st of June.
Ernie Els’ passion for fine wines led to him choosing Stellenbosch as the base for his viticultural operation, which has since borne fruit in the form of the successful and popular Ernie Els Wines range. “Spending time with friends over a great bottle of wine and a meal in a fun, relaxed environment,” is Ernie’s ethos and it is only fitting that his selection is enjoyed on this occasion. Lovers of food and wine are guaranteed an entertaining evening, good company and the opportunity to sample fine wines with carefully selected, delectable food creations.
Gordon and Nadia Newton Johnson – second-generation couple from the Newton Johnson Wines – are teaming up with Head Chef Janine of Big Easy Durban to highlight the nuances and subtleties of the wines produced on their estate situated in the in the Upper Hemel en Aarde Valley, near the Southern Cape Town Hermanus.
