The Winter Menu at Mozambik that turns Cold Days into Comfort Food Celebrations

Cold weather may have arrived, but Mozambik has no intention of letting winter be boring.

The restaurant’s limited-edition Winter Warmers menu is packed with rich flavours, comforting dishes, and plenty of seafood-inspired favourites designed to take the edge off chilly days.

With seafood, pasta, warming soups and plenty of Portuguese-inspired flavour, Mozambik’s Winter Warmers menu offers exactly what the season calls for: comfort, flavour, and a very good reason to stay a little longer.

  • Leading the comfort-food lineup is the Coastal Seafood Bake (R129), a hearty combination of prawns, hake and vegetables in a rich creamy sauce, baked beneath mashed potato and melted cheese. It is the sort of dish that feels tailor-made for winter.
  • For those who like a little heat with their comfort, the Hot & Spicy Seafood Soup, affectionately known as the “Comfort Bowl” (R139), combines calamari, prawns, bold tomato flavours, garlic and coriander, served alongside a warm Portuguese roll.
  • Seafood lovers can also dive into the Creamy Garlic Mussels (R199), featuring 20 mussels simmered in a creamy garlic and white wine sauce, while pasta fans have two indulgent options to choose from. The Mozambik Prawn Fettuccine (R149) pairs succulent prawns with a creamy mild peri-peri sauce, while the Creamy Peppadew Chicken Fettuccine (R149) combines tender chicken strips with a rich peppadew-infused sauce.
  • Rounding out the menu is the ever-popular Prawn Pani Puri (R60), served with a choice of creamy curry, garlic, lemon and herb, or peri-peri sauce.

To complete the experience, guests can add a glass of Michielini wine, creating an easy pairing for a relaxed lunch, cosy dinner, or weekend catch-up with friends. For more information, visit www.mozambik.co.za.
