A little glamour, a touch of danger and plenty of razzle dazzle are heading to KwaZulu-Natal when the 007 James Bond Show takes over the iZulu Theatre at Sibaya Casino on Friday, 27 November 2026.
Inspired by the world of James Bond, the production brings together iconic music, dramatic choreography and spectacular Latin and Ballroom dancing for an evening with a distinctly 007 flavour.
Leading the show are Ryno and Elena, seven-time South African Latin American and Show Dance Professional Champions. The pair have also entertained audiences aboard some of the world’s best-known cruise liners, performing their James Bond production for international crowds. Now, they are bringing the spectacle home to KZN.
- The soundtrack is packed with familiar Bond favourites, including Skyfall, Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Living Daylights and A View to a Kill, along with plenty more. These iconic songs provide the backdrop for high-energy Latin and Ballroom performances, powerful choreography and dramatic moments designed to keep the evening moving.
This is not simply a dance performance with a Bond soundtrack playing in the background. The production embraces the glamour, intensity and action associated with the famous secret agent, with Ryno and Elena bringing their championship dance experience to the stage.
Naturally, the evening comes with a little dress-code encouragement. Guests are invited to dress semi-formally and bring their friends and family along for a night of entertainment. And in keeping with the occasion, the martinis are best imagined shaken, not stirred.
A James Bond-inspired evening calls for a little sophistication, and guests attending the 007 James Bond Show at Sibaya can add a wonderful meal to their plans.
Royal Court Restaurant at the Royal Sibaya Hotel offers refined dining in an elegant setting, while Beira Alta brings traditional Portuguese cuisine with African influences to the table. For guests who prefer a little spice before the spectacle, Thava Indian Restaurant serves Indian curries and Tandoor specialities.
With the performance starting at 19:00 on Friday, 27 November, dinner timing deserves some careful planning. Royal Court’s dinner service begins at 18:00, so guests should arrange meal times directly with their chosen restaurant and allow enough time before curtain. Post-show dining depends on the performance’s finishing time and restaurant kitchen hours, making advance enquiries and reservations a sensible part of the evening’s preparations.
With its combination of recognisable music, accomplished dancing and James Bond-inspired spectacle, the 007 James Bond Show offers a lively night out at Sibaya Casino. Those who enjoy a bit of ballroom elegance with their action-movie glamour can look forward to an evening that is very much licensed to entertain. Get your tickets now!
