For starters, guests can choose Biltong With Cheese Sauce for R160 or the rather wonderfully named Oh Frik! Beef Frikkadels With Kerrie-Boontjies for R75. The latter brings classic beef frikkadels together with curried green beans, putting a distinctly South African spin on a familiar comfort-food combination.
The mains continue the heritage theme with Pulled Lamb Bobotie for R240 and the Avo Dijon Great Heritage Sirloin Steak for R250. The latter combines sirloin steak with sliced avocado and a creamy Dijon-style sauce, while the pulled lamb bobotie offers a hearty take on one of South Africa’s best-known dishes.
