1000 Hills Chef School serves a 6 Course Gourmet Evening created by the next generation of Chefs

The future of fine dining is already hard at work in the kitchen, and on Friday, 3 July 2026, guests can experience it course by course at 1000 Hills Chef School.

The school’s Restaurant Gourmet Evening invites diners to enjoy a sophisticated seasonal menu prepared by its talented student chefs.

Designed to warm guests from the inside out, the evening offers an opportunity to experience emerging culinary talent in a polished restaurant-style setting.

  • More than just a dinner, the event gives guests a front-row seat to the skill, creativity, and confidence being developed at one of KwaZulu-Natal’s respected culinary training institutions. Every plate reflects the students’ growing understanding of technique, flavour, presentation, and hospitality, while still keeping the evening relaxed and enjoyable.

For diners, it is a chance to enjoy a memorable winter meal while supporting the next generation of South African chefs. For the students, it is a valuable opportunity to step into a real service environment and show what they can do.

Priced at R625 per person, the evening begins at 18:00 for 18:30. Booking is essential, as these gourmet evenings are popular with guests who enjoy good food, fresh talent, and a dining experience with a little extra heart.
