It’s the time of the year, where fine dining restaurants across the country will offer their menu at reduced prices either for lunch or dinner. Seats have to be pre-booked in advance through the Restaurant Week online portal
Lord Nelson at the Mount Nelson
Brimming with history, what was once the hotel’s writing room is now the stage for an unforgettable culinary sensation. Oak-panelled walls and an original bust of Admiral Nelson, carved from the timbers of the HMS Victory, add to the timeless appeal.
In contrast, Chef Rudi Liebenberg’s fresh and vibrant menu’s are avant garde. The best local ingredients and traditional recipes are transformed into daringly modern dishes.

This year, Mount Nelson will be part of Restaurant Week (18 July – 4 August ) offering a 3 course dinner menu for R400 is also available.
