What would your perfect wine taste like?
Wine lovers can find out at The Blending Table, a new monthly experience launching at Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate on Sunday, 29 November 2026 at 11:00.
For one morning, guests will step into the role of winemaker.
- With guidance from Benguela Cove’s winemaker, they will taste four to six component wines from the current vintage and explore how each one contributes to the final blend. Using tasting notes and precision pourers, guests can test different ratios until they create a wine that reflects their own palate.
The winemaker will then reveal his blend, compare the results and share insight into the choices behind a finished wine. The best part? Every guest will bottle and label their creation to take home. This is not a standard wine tasting. It is a hands-on opportunity to understand the craft of blending while creating a bottle that is entirely your own.
