They all come with chips and onion rings, but the similarities more or less stop there, because each has its own combination of meat, toppings and sauces.
- The Winger takes the fried chicken route, starting with a fried chicken breast and adding bacon, cheese, crispy onion rings, jalapeño chillies, slaw, lettuce, tomato and pickles. It is finished with peri-peri and blue cheese sauce, then served with chips and onion rings.
- The Captain goes for a beefier approach with a beef patty, bacon and cheese, joined by crispy onion rings, jalapeño chillies, caramelised onion, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Burger sauce and cheese sauce bring the finishing touches, with chips and onion rings on the side.
- Then there is The Scrum Master, built around pulled pork, bacon and cheese. It comes loaded with crispy onion rings, jalapeño chillies, slaw, lettuce, tomato and pickles, followed by spicy mayo and beer gravy. Chips and onion rings complete the plate.
At R150 each, the three burgers offer distinctly different ways to tackle the same important question: chicken, beef or pulled pork?
