As part of the Knysna Oyster Festival, The Turbine Boutique Hotel and Spa is hosting a special Christmas in July Wine Dinner in partnership with Steenberg Estate on 9 July 2026.
Taking place at the hotel’s Island Café from 18:30, the evening pairs a carefully curated multi-course menu with some of Steenberg’s acclaimed wines for R595 per person.
- The experience begins with a glass of Steenberg Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc, served alongside an oyster cracker with crunchy vegetables and dipping sauce.
- From there, guests can look forward to salmon gravalax paired with 1682 Chardonnay Cap Classique, followed by pesto lasagne with winter squash matched with Steenberg Sauvignon Blanc.
- The hearty main course features braised de-rust lamb with pearl barley risotto, fresh herbs and roasted baby onions, perfectly complemented by Steenberg Nebbiolo.
- To finish, dessert brings together a rich chocolate marquise with hazelnut, poached pear and toasted meringue, paired with Steenberg Merlot.
