Running from 11:00 to 16:00, the annual event celebrates not only the beauty of aged wines but also a remarkable milestone: 55 years of Kaapse Vonkel, one of South Africa’s most iconic Cap Classique brands.
- Priced at R450 per person, Vintage Day offers guests the rare opportunity to explore wines normally hidden away in Simonsig’s vintage vaults. Throughout the day, visitors can taste carefully aged releases of Kaapse Vonkel, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other cellar treasures, each showcasing how time can transform a wine’s character and complexity.
Members of the Simonsig winemaking team will be on hand to guide guests through the tastings, sharing stories, insights, and the history behind these special bottles.
