A Refined Lunch, Winelands Views and an Easter Egg Hunt at Cavalli

This Easter Sunday, Cavalli brings together refined dining, vineyard views and family-friendly moments in a thoughtfully curated experience designed for the whole table.

At the heart of the celebration is a three-course Easter lunch (R885 per person), showcasing a menu that blends tradition with contemporary flair.

Guests can begin with a hot cross bun served with boerenkaas and tomato jam, followed by a fresh take on a classic with pickled fish featuring raw yellowtail, pickled onions, curry mayo and black garlic.

  • The main course highlights a slow-cooked roast lamb shoulder, served with potato and mushroom pavé, wild garlic aioli and a crisp wedge salad — a rich and comforting centrepiece to the meal. A cheese course of brioche and Dalewood brie with sherry vinegar adds a savoury pause before dessert, where reserve white pears, white chocolate and bee pollen bring a light, elegant finish.

While the dining experience unfolds, younger guests can enjoy their own Easter adventure.

The Easter egg hunt (R150 per child, starting at 11:00) includes face painting, a lawn-based egg hunt and interaction with Sir Galahad, creating a playful and memorable experience. Spaces are limited to 15 children, ensuring a more personal touch, and a kids’ menu is available for lunch.

For those looking for a more relaxed visit, the terrace offers the option to stop in for a glass of wine, making Cavalli just as inviting for a casual Easter moment as it is for a full celebration.

With a menu that’s carefully considered and an atmosphere that balances elegance with ease, Easter at Cavalli offers a day designed for lingering lunches, shared moments and a little seasonal magic. 🌿🐣🍷
