Flower Power & Bubbly Bliss: Mother’s Day Gets Creative at Durbanville Hills

If your mom’s love language includes fresh flowers and fine wine (whose doesn’t?), then Durbanville Hills has just the plan to make her heart bloom this Mother’s Day.

Enter a Sip & Create experience: a joyful blend of floral flair, wine-country charm, and quality time.

Running on the 10th and 11th of May, this bouquet-building workshop invites guests to the winery’s tasting room lounge for an hour of creativity, bubbles, and bonding.

  • For just R400 per person, you’ll get seasonal blooms to play florist with, a glass of bubbly on arrival, and a bottle of wine to take home—or open right then and there, if the celebration calls for it. Each session (11:00 and 13:30 daily) is hosted in an intimate setting where you can sip, snip, and style your way through a bouquet that’s almost as beautiful as Mom herself. Think of it as a floral hug—with fizz.

Spots are limited, so early booking is essential if you want to trade in the usual grocery-store bouquet for something a little more personal—and a whole lot more fun. Because nothing says “I love you, Mom” like petals, prosecco, and perfectly poured wine.
