Orange you glad it’s Negroni Week with Angostura?

Join us on a journey through flavour and time as we celebrate an iconic cocktail – the Negroni!

The negroni is a cocktail that has surpassed trends and time for over a century, dating all the way back to the early 20th century Florence.

It was born at the hands of Count Camillo Negroni when, in a bold statement, he added gin to his regular americano instead of the usual soda water.

  • It didn’t take long for the innovative drink to spread, not only over the country, but globally, as it was taken to America in the 1920s. Throughout the decades, the Negroni has evolved and adapted to the ever-changing taste preferences and mixology trends.

The most intriguing twist in this legendary drink’s history, however, is the introduction of ANGOSTURA® orange bitters. The simple addition of that citrusy note immediately elevates its complexity and overall allure as a cocktail. This goes to show that the Negroni is more than just a drink – it’s a testament to the artistry of crafting flavors that transcend time. Now, if you’re looking for the perfect gin to make your ordinary negroni extraordinary, try out a bottle of Cape Town Gin, you can’t go wrong.

So, join in the week’s celebrations by mixing yourself the perfect negroni with ANGOSTURA® orange bitters!
