Freedom Cafe

Freedom Cafe is the playful restaurant in a red shipping container where Lucy creates everyday classics with her signature contemporary twist. Wholesome, generous and visually delightful dishes attract a vast clientele from far and wide and the venue is a mixing pot of people from all over.

The menu features regular specials which together with popular staples like Salt and Pepper Squid, Calabash Soup and Vienamese Pulled Pork Buns acknowledge world food trends while paying homage to local ingredients and nuances, pushing the boundaries of the everyday. Cold press coffee and Old School Lemonade are just some of the refreshments on order, also celebrating everyday traditions. The wine list supports boutique wineries with unusual offerings, preferring innovative and inspirational to what’s normally considered cool.

The Cafe also hosts regular pop-up events such as Burger and Shake and Tacos & Tequila evenings, which celebrate community, creativity and of course good food.
