Kruger National Park Camping Safari [4 Days]

Enjoy a wonderful camping safari exploring the Kruger National Park.

During the tour you will have contact with local tribes, as we visit a traditional cultural village. You will learn about and experience a small aspect of their culture and their beautiful country. Of course, you will also be going on several safaris from game drives and even walking safaris.

On the last day, you will drive towards the Panorama Route which includes the Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the famous Three Rondavels. An unforgettable experience!

Travel Day 1: Kwa Madwale Reserve

Early morning, you depart from Johannesburg and travel through the northern province of Mpumalanga in the direction of the breathtaking Kruger National Park. In the afternoon, you will reach the Kwa Madwale game reserve. After setting up tent, you will start a 3 hour game drive. During the dinner, you can experience dances of a local tribe.

Travel Day 2: Kruger National Park

Awakened by the sun, you start with a morning walk through the area before making your way into the Kruger National Park. After setting up camp, you will enjoy the afternoon with a safari vehicle on a very exciting game drive. It is elevated which gives you a better chance to spot many safari animals. Depending on local availability, night game drives are also possible.

Travel Day 3: Kruger National Park

On the third day of travel, you spend the entire day on a game drive at the Kruger National Park – do not forget your camera and bring enough batteries. The rangers will explain interesting facts about the fauna and flora of the African bush.

Travel Day 4: Panorama Route

Early in the morning, you are invited to join a walking tour in the Kruger National Park. Afterwards, the tour takes you to the spectacular Panorama Route and the Blyde River Canyon. It is the third largest canyon in the world, with breathtaking views of groups such as God’s Window and the beautiful Three Rondavels. In good weather, you will have a view into Mozambique. You will also visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes, which is another highlight of the trip. Afterwards we head towards Johannesburg, where the tour will come to an end. Many of our groups spent the last evening together at a local restaurant.
