Knysna Foodies, This Wine & Dine Evening at Turbine Hotel & Spa was made for You!

Living in paradise has its perks — and the next one is pouring.

On Thursday, 27 November 2025, the Turbine Boutique Hotel & Spa is rolling out the red carpet for an unforgettable Wine Pairing Dinner featuring two South African legends: Graham Beck and Steenberg.

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to dress up, eat well, and drink better — this is it. All set in the chic, candlelit setting of Island Café, right here in your own coastal backyard.

🥂 Wine + Food = Local Luxury

This isn’t your average Thursday night. Expect four indulgent courses, each paired with a perfectly selected vintage. The menu has been crafted to celebrate flavour, elegance, and the kind of flair you don’t find just anywhere:

  • Welcome: Saldanha oysters with pickles, lemon emulsion & sprouts + Steenberg Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc

  • 1st Course: Smoked pork belly with beetroot & spiced pineapple + Graham Beck Brut

  • 2nd Course: Line-fish ceviche with peach salsa + Steenberg Sauvignon Blanc

  • 3rd Course: Braised beef short rib with bean cassoulet, herbs & smoked paprika + Steenberg Merlot

  • Dessert: Wild honey cheesecake with berry salad + Graham Beck Bliss Nectar

It’s all the flavours of the Garden Route — elevated, plated, and paired to perfection.

You already know the beauty of Knysna’s lagoons, forests, and sunsets. But when was the last time you treated yourself to a night of fine dining and fine wine, no Uber required?

This event is your reminder to indulge in the lifestyle you live among — not just admire it from the car window. Whether it’s a celebration, a mid-week spoil, or a long overdue catch-up with friends, the Turbine’s Wine Pairing Dinner is the local event of the month.
