Whatever the case, be sure to add an avo to your time off!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>While you\u2019re relaxing, there&#8217;s no reason to spend too much time in the kitchen because just by adding an avo to the most basic of meals, you\u2019ll be amazed at how good they can taste. And to top that off, avocados also offer many health benefits. The avocado is high in heart-healthy fats, energy, vitamin K and biotin; it\u2019s also sodium and cholesterol free and a source of fibre. Need we say more \u2013 good taste and good health all in one and just waiting for you to slice open!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So for those lazy days, why not revamp a few tried and tested easy meals by adding an avo? Think pulled chicken sliders with sliced avo on the side, take hotdogs from edible to extravagance by piling avo on top, and even a regular toasted cheese can be upgraded when you add avo on the inside!<\/p>\n<p><strong>For further information and avo recipes, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avocado.co.za\">www.avocado.co.za<\/a> , like them on Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/iloveavocadoSA\">@iloveavocadoSA<\/a> and follow on Instagram <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/iloveavossa\/\">@iloveavossa<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Luxury Hotdogs<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Serves 4 &#8211; 6<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation time:<\/strong> 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients for the salsa:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 ripe avocados, peeled and diced<\/li>\n<li>250 ml (1 cup) cooked corn kernels<\/li>\n<li>3 spring onions, white and green parts thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 small jalape\u00f1o, seeded and finely diced (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Juice of 1 lemon<\/li>\n<li>30 ml (2 tbsp) fresh coriander, chopped<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves garlic, crushed<\/li>\n<li>15 ml (1 tbsp) avocado or olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of sea salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ingredients for the hotdogs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 hotdog sausages or Frankfurters<\/li>\n<li>6 hotdog rolls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Boil the sausages for 4-6 minutes in water.<\/li>\n<li>Slice the rolls in half.<\/li>\n<li>While the sausages are boiling, in a large bowl combine the avocado, corn, spring onion, jalape\u00f1o, lemon juice, coriander, avocado oil, crushed garlic and salt.
