Early founder Daniel E. Williams created a blend of all three types of Irish whiskeys; the pot still, malt and grain whiskeys. As a result, Tullamore D.E.W. is three times smoother with an added gentle complexity.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It has been widely acclaimed by whiskey connoisseurs, most recently winning a Gold Medal at the 2014 International Spirits Challenge for Tullamore D.E.W. Original, as well as other accolades.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tullamore D.E.W. is best enjoyed to taste, but we recommend neat, on the rocks or served long with ginger beer, fresh lime juice and a dash of bitters in a Tullamore Irish Mule.<\/p>\n<p>Or if you like some extra warmth with some extra sherry, try Tullamore D.E.W\u2019s O\u2019Sherry chocolate cocktail on those chilly winter nights \u2013 a drink consisting of Tullamore D.E.W, sweet vermouth, sherry wine and chocolate bitters. Make your own with the recipe below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50ml Tullamore D.E.W. Original Whiskey<\/li>\n<li>10ml Sweet Vermouth<\/li>\n<li>7.5ml Pedro Ximenez Sherry<\/li>\n<li>2 dashes of chocolate bitters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass, fill with ice and stir until chilled.
