As Old Fashioned Week approaches, it’s time to honour the father<\/a> of cocktails, and\u00a0of course, Mootee Bar isn’t going to celebrate in any ordinary manner… <\/strong><\/p>\n

A global event that’s celebrated annually, Old Fashioned week is currently in its fourth year and still going strong.<\/p>\n

Over 100 years old, yet still timelessly in fashion, the Old Fashioned has been named the world\u2019s most popular cocktail for the last four years in a row. Named in this year\u2019s top 10 best new cocktail bars in the world by the Spirited Awards, Mootee Bar is undoubtedly joining in on the Old Fashioned Week action.<\/p>\n

Mootee Bar has created a special menu for this week-long event that celebrates its history and many variations. A versatile drink, the\u00a0Old Fashioned can be made with just about any spirit \u2013 whiskey, brandy, rum and even gin. The Baskteen Fashioned<\/a>, clay-aged underground in Melville for 30 days, is\u00a0already a\u00a0firm favourite at Mootee Bar. This Old Fashioned includes ingredients such as Woodford Reserve, Monkey Shoulder Blend, Brick Distillate, Sour Fig and Clay Syrup and Earth Bitter.<\/p>\n

In true Mootee Bar fashion, they have created not one, but five Old Fashioned cocktails for you to choose from.<\/p>\n
