A characteristic that makes this cocktail just right for sipping on in spring.

In the Victorian era, the elderflower was known as a jewel of the garden leading into the spring season. In Victorian times, spring time was always busy with social events and outdoor work; as tiring as the season was, in many traditions, it was thought dangerous to fall asleep under an elderflower tree in bloom, as one could awaken in the underworld of the dead or fairyland.

Although they can’t vouch for its mystical powers, they can certainly vouch for the Elder Lady tipple, imbued with the most curious gin, elderflower liqueur, syrup, and egg whites.
