Watching the city wake up from the windows of the train is something special. We hopped off at Hatfield Station and headed to the buses to catch a ride to the Hazel Food Market. There is something glorious about food markets. The hustle and bustle of the crowds, the sound of excited chatter and friends meeting as well as the smell of glorious food. The Food Market is a great spot to taste a few different dishes. As the heat of the summer sun began to beat down at around midday we headed back to the Gautrain station. The air conditioned trains are a cool reprieve from the heat and the twenty minute ride allows for the quick nap your full tummy craves. It’s the perfect Saturday morning date or excuse to catch up with friends.

For more info and to check out the T&Cs, be sure to check out the Gautrain website.
