They would sit at the bar and request that their drink be made \u2018The old fashioned way\u2019 \u2013 and so the name stuck.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Even as the cocktail scene continued to evolve, the Old Fashioned endured. In recent years, the popularity of this timeless cocktail was revived. Bartenders revisited the classic recipe, adding their own modern twists that celebrated its traditional essence.<\/p>\n<p>The Old Fashioned is a reminder that, in a world of ever-evolving trends, there&#8217;s something beautiful and comforting about simplicity, tradition, and a well-crafted drink. So, join us in celebrating Old Fashioned Week by mixing this classic recipe!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Old-fashioned Recipe<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>60ml bourbon<\/li>\n<li>7ml demerara syrup*<\/li>\n<li>2 dashes ANGOSTURA\u00ae aromatic bitters<\/li>\n<li>Orange peel<\/li>\n<li>Ice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Build in a rocks glass, stir with ice to incorporate ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Add ice.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with a long orange peel.<\/li>\n<li>*Demerara syrup: 1 part Demerara sugar, 1 part hot water.
