{"id":11330,"date":"2022-04-19T08:53:21","date_gmt":"2022-04-19T06:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.food-blog.co.za\/joburg\/?p=11330"},"modified":"2026-09-28T18:04:57","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T16:04:57","slug":"craigellachie-whisky-introduces-its-taste-profile-through-a-6-part-dinner-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.food-blog.co.za\/joburg\/craigellachie-whisky-introduces-its-taste-profile-through-a-6-part-dinner-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Craigellachie Whisky introduces its taste profile through a 6-part dinner experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Craigellachie Whisky held an intimate dinner experience at Marabi Club in the hub of Johannesburg\u2019s downtown scene last week Thursday, the 24th of March 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Marabi was transformed into an oasis for the Craigellachie Dinner Experience &#8211; dressed in wildflowers and oak toned decor, transporting guests to a unique brand incubation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The award-winning scotch rebels against conventional whisky norms in how it shows up and this intimate evening was no different.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The 6-part taste journey saw guests enjoy an immersive masterclass that took a unique take on the hosting &#8211; with Chef, MC and Brand Trade Ambassador sharing the hosting duties of the night.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While the MC for the night, Mzwandile Ngubeni carried the overall evening, Head Chef at Marabi Club, Chef Katlego and Bacardi Group Trade Ambassador, Nkuli Khanyile alternated in hosting intermittent taste sessions, interchanging between Whisky tastings and meal courses. The background vibe was in the trusted hands of the Marabi Jazz group, making it a mellow and wholesome night.<\/p>\n<p><a cardholders were printed on-site as a memento.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Our aim was to create a tailored experience that will educate and connect the consumer with Craigellachie, increasing awareness of brand\u2019s taste portfolio. We wanted to host an intimate selection of individuals who are known for their adventurous palettes, taking them through a Nose to Tail Experience of brand.
