If there are two alcohols that have a history of being enjoyed socially in a bar, around the braai, or watching the big game, beer and whiskey stand out.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While these two types of alcohols are generally enjoyed neat and on their own, the Irish discovered that the two consumed together create a beautiful blend of flavours.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, this Heritage Day, while most of us will be celebrating \u201cbraai day\u201d (all responsibly maintaining measures to stop the spread of the Covid 19 pandemic, as well as drinking responsibly), we suggest trying out this delicious blend of complimentary flavours of Tullamore D.E.W and IPA beer.<\/p>\n

Originally brewed in England with extra hops to survive long sea voyages, the hoppiness of IPA brings out the overt sweetness of Tullamore D.E.W, as well as highlights the dry tones of the beer. The whiskey\u2019s sweetness balances and contrasts, while the oak complements.<\/p>\n
