Bake it, post it, share&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SaskoSA\/\">SASKO<\/a> on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/SaskoSA\/posts\/2997928273562637\">Thursday, 7 May 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>SASKO Smoked beef croque monsiuer<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Preparation time: <\/strong>\u00a0 20 Minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking time:<\/strong> 5 Minutes<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Yield: <\/strong>12 portions<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>125ml milk<\/li>\n<li>5g thyme<\/li>\n<li>15g Sasko cake flour<\/li>\n<li>15g butter<\/li>\n<li>50g\u00a0 Emmental cheese, grated<\/li>\n<li>50g Lancewood Mascarpone cheese<\/li>\n<li>5ml Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li>100g sliced smoked beef<\/li>\n<li>8 slices Sasko Low Gi Whole-wheat bread<\/li>\n<li>150g emental cheese<\/li>\n<li>80g butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Place milk and thyme into a saucepan and scald. Allow to infuse for 10 \u2013 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>In a separate saucepan, melt butter over a low heat. Remove from heat and add flour. Stir until a thick paste is formed. Return to the heat and cool for 2 \u2013 3 minutes. Slowly add infused milk, stirring all the time. Do not allow any lumps to form.<\/li>\n<li>Once all milk has been added, bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Cook for 2 \u2013 3min. Add grated Emmental cheese, mascarpone and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Assemble:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To make the sandwiches, spread the cooled cheese b\u00e9chamel evenly onto 4 slices of bread.
