Hold on before you reach for the ice blocks.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Marson Strydom, Mixologist for Tullamore D.E.W in South Africa explains, \u201cWell, the ice sphere has less surface area than multiple blocks, and so it will melt slower, meaning your drink will not be diluted as quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Along with the mould and your favourite liquor is a cocktail menu for a Tully and Tonic, a surprise for anyone who didn\u2019t realize the great romance that is whiskey and tonic water.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.food-blog.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Tully-bottle-sphere-pack-angled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-77853 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.food-blog.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Tully-bottle-sphere-pack-angled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1150\" height=\"879\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Tully and Tonic Cocktail Recipe<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine the top and bottom half of the ice sphere mould<\/li>\n<li>Carefully pour water into the mould through the small hole at the top of the sphere<\/li>\n<li>Tap lightly on the side of the sphere to release also air bubbles trapped inside<\/li>\n<li>Top up the sphere to just below the opening (do not overfill the ice sphere)<\/li>\n<li>Place the sphere into the deepfreeze, and wait until the ice has solidified<\/li>\n<li>Remove the ice sphere from the mould and place into a glass<\/li>\n<li>Pour 25 \u2013 50ml Tullamore D.E.W into the whiskey glass<\/li>\n<li>Add 200ml of premium tonic water<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with a lemon wheel<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The gift pack is available in liquor stores countrywide and also online at Norman Goodfellow\u2019s and Makro, and retails at a recommended retail price of R269.00 for 750ml.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Enjoy responsibly.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The festive season is not complete without festive drinks.
