Irish whiskey certainly agrees, that\u2019s why they\u2019ve created the ultimate soothing winter drink that celebrates whiskey and honey in equal measure.<\/p>\n<p>This hot mug of delicious golden liquid is a glorious winter treat. Infused with cinnamon, honey and cloves, it\u2019s just right for sipping while sitting around a fireplace.<\/p>\n<p>Although different, apple, honey and Tullamore D.E.W. actually have quite a bit in common. Well, their colours are similar, each has its own fragrant aroma and uncompromising flavour, and when the trio are combined, the result is something wonderful.<\/p>\n<p>The Hot Apple D.E.W. puts a fruity spin on the classic whiskey and stout combination, by using apple cider. A cocktail for a cozy day, the combination of cloves, honey and Irish whiskey is a true celebration of winter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOT APPLE D.E.W.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>60ml Tullamore D.E.W. Original<\/li>\n<li>15ml Honey<\/li>\n<li>30ml Apple juice \/ apple cider<\/li>\n<li>2-3 cloves<\/li>\n<li>1 Orange<\/li>\n<li>1 Cinnamon stick<\/li>\n<li>Star anise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to make it<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Add honey to a pre heated coffee mug\/glass.<\/li>\n<li>Fill with hot apple juice \/ apple cider (if using cider reduce whiskey to 45ml).<\/li>\n<li>Still well and garnish with 2-3 clove studded range wheel, cinnamon stick and star anise.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Mix this cocktail on a cold winter\u2019s evening and enjoy!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whiskey and honey, an undeniably happy union of complimentary flavours.
