What to do at Nederburg Wine Estate for Easter

Now guys, Cape Town has a sick variety of wines, and it’s always a bit of a struggle going to a restaurant and being faced with thousands of choices of wine.

Now I am a wine girl, so what’s the easiest way to solve the difficult decision making process on a wine list? Choose the most familiar name on the list! For me this has to be Nederberg.

Nederberg has been around for as long as I can remember, and it has always been the wine choice in my family, so you can imagine how wonderful it was to hear that they have got our backs for this coming Easter.

Recently included, for the fourth consecutive time in 2019, in the World’s Most Admired Wine Brands top 50 list by Drinks International, Nederberg will be serving up a selection of delicious dishes from it’s restaurant’s The Red Table à la carte menu, matched with some of Nederburg’s award-winning wines. And on the spirit of the Easter tradition, there will be plenty of fish to feast on!

We all have different traditions on Easter but the most important thing is to spend it with family and loved ones, and the best thing about this is that Nederberg will be catering for everyone including the kiddies.

Guests can look forward to trying the popular Nederberg Cabernet Sauvignon offered at R65 per person. The tasting includes the flagship, Nederburg Two Centuries Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 or 2015, as well as Nederburg Manor House Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, and the popular Cabernet Sauvignon of the 2017 vintage that forms part of Nederburg’s core collection named The Winemasters.

And for food, think smoked smoor snoek and cauliflower rice, fresh fish of the day and chips with tartar sauce, cheese and wine, ice cream and wine, confectionary and sweet wine, and kids’ pairings, as well as snack boxes and cheese platters. It will be an Easter vibe.
