Visit Cape Town’s first French Victoire Bakery

Cape Town’s first Victoire Bakery has opened, and it’s all about authenticity, simplicity and quality.

Victoire bakeries are a group of bakeries in France that have been around since 1952 and have a reputation for impeccable quality. Offering high-end products aimed at both South Africans and French expatriates, this traditional French bakery aims to mix French cuisine with traditional South African baking, while still staying true to the original bakeries’ French style.

Personally handpicked and trained by Victoire’s founder William Galzin, Drikus Hancke is fluent in French and has gained valuable experience in the French food industry, which makes him perfect for Victoire Cape Town. French chef, Manon Vieilledent, was also handpicked by William Galzin, and is highly trained in baking, ensuring the high quality that is synonymous with Victoire.

Situated on Parliament Street in a beautiful space, Victoire Bakery offers a range of delectable fresh pastries, breads and light meals. They also serve up a great cup of coffee.

Visit them this week for an authentic French experience.
