Valentine’s Day Menu
The decadent three course set menu (R385 per head) carefully designed by Vista Marina owner and seasoned restaurateur, Thelma Francisco, promises an unparalleled flavour excursion. Upon arrival guests will receive a complimentary glass of Pongrazc Desiderus bubbly, as well as a bottle of multi-award winning Deetlefs Chenin or Pinotage to accompany the meal.
A choice of starter (Chilli, lime & gin oysters) and main (grilled kingklip fillet, garnished with a grilled tiger prawn and served with roasted Mediterranean veg and crushed baby potatoes) explore the fresh local flavours from our abundant Atlantic waters with sustainable Mediterranean inspired seafood dishes.
The Prosciutto grilled artichoke crostini starter and chef’s choice Cut of the day with crushed potatoes, roast veg and café’ de Paris butter offer guests a generous ‘land’ alternative. For dessert, options of either indulgent Chocolate cigars with a caramel & Amarula dipping sauce or in true Vista style a Mediterranean twist on an old-time favourite – the Turkish delight crème brulee.
Adding spectacular sparkle to the evening’s affairs, The Diamond Works will be giving away a gorgeous 0.15 carat diamond and complimentary design consultation to one lucky couple.
Ricky Botsis takes to the mic with classic covers of Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé from 9pm – 11pm for a touch of added ambience.
To add to the memorable occasion, guests can book a sunset yacht cruise on the Vista Marina yacht, available for private bookings in advance only and subject to weather conditions for health and safety purposes.
