Valentine’s Day Dinner at Tobago’s Restaurant

Romantic ocean views this Valentine’s Day.

The most romantic day of the year requires the most romantic setting. How does a picnic or dinner while listening to waves break and breathing in the salty freshness of the ocean sound? At Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront you get this plus the best views in Cape Town for you and your loved one this Valentine’s Day.

The picnic is what romance movies are made of.

Those who opt for a picnic on the lawn will be able to tuck into a menu that consists of sushi for two, tabbouleh feta salad with lemon coriander dressing, a selection of local cheese served with preserves and pickles, a selection of rolls with butters and spreads, mini-beef burgers with mature cheddar, oak barrel-smoked pork ribs, and strawberries with dark chocolate marshmallow brownie and honeycomb, and more.

For those wanting more of a formal setup, Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront has you covered, with a five-course sit-down dinner.

The menu includes delicious dishes such as a red bush chai spiced butternut soup, a duo of prawn and pomegranate gravadlax, lamb loin with spanish chorizo and cilantro potato dauphinoise and, for dessert, a layered tonka bean and berry panna cotta with pavlova madeira macerated cherries, salted liquorice noodles and cherry soil – to name just a few of the delectable treats.

Guests will enjoy a special romantic welcome cocktail, made by barman extraordinaire, AJ Snetler.

The picnic costs R795 per couple which includes a welcome cocktail and bottle of house wine, while the set menu is priced at R695 per person, and includes a welcome cocktail. Seating at both events is limited, so be sure to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

P.S.: Vegetarian menu available on request.
