Straw Wine (R125)
Intense fragrance with Muscat raisins and honeyed spiciness enriched with subtle oak toastiness. Smooth on the palate with layered flavours of aromatic dried pears and caramelised sugar. The unctuous sweetness runs like a golden thread ending with a delicious dryish finish. Made from sundried grapes for you to enjoy this handmade wine in perfect harmony with nature.
Gewurtztraminer (R65)
Rich, spicy nose with lovely rose petal and litchi fruit flavours. A delicious semi-sweet wine with a dry finish. A must with spicy Cape Malay or Indian cuisine.
Chenin Avec Chene (R105)
“Chenin with Oak”. Super ripe Chenin grown on shale soil gives exquisite concentrated flavours with a classical mineral finish and a gentle touch of French oak.
Vin de Liza (R125)
A noble late harvest with rich, honeyed aromas and delicious flavours of glazed fruit. Serve chilled with a strong, flavoursome paté, with or instead of dessert at the end of a fine meal.
Cape Vintage Reserve (R150)
After an exceptional wet winter the soils were well saturated and throughout the growing season the quintessential Mediterranean climate prevailed. However, it was the idyllic cooler conditions, which lasted from spring until February, that ensured a slower ripening of the early varietals. This year the first meaningful rainfall only made its appearance at the end of the harvest, which allowed the longest possible hang time for the late varieties to reach maturity and refined flavour spectrum. The Shiraz benefited from the longer optimal ripening and shows finesse with soft, smooth tannins and voluptuous ripe flavours.

Simonsig produce their olive oil in very small quantities from olives grown on our estate for purchase in our tasting room.
