Are you excited to order your cooked ready meals from Cafe Charles?
Prices of all meals available range from R85 – R137 with boboties, curries, risottos and more on offer. Along with the meals, they will also deliver nutritious fruits, vegetables and other much needed pantry items ie. honey, eggs, bread, cheese, chocolate etc. straight to your doorstep.
They will commence the service with a collections spot at 137 Waterkant Street, with door-to-door deliveries to follow soon. By supporting Cafe Charles, in turn you will assist in supporting their small local suppliers, keeping the local economy intact.
Head Chef Shaun Dampies will be cooking solo, for the moment, with packaging and logistics by café owners Justine and Mark. The small team is aware of the strict health and safety regulations and will be participating in maximum hygiene protocols when dealing with food items:
- washing hands regularly
- cleaning and sanitising work spaces continuously
- using latex gloves and protective face gear when required
- washing fruit and vegetables meticulously
- sanitising products from suppliers as they are delivered
