Shimmy Beach Club has just launched their summer menu, created by head chef and executive head chef with a ‘more is more’ philosophy.

On the starter side of things, expect fresh seafood in the form of Local Black Mussels in an Asian- style sauce, Grilled Prawns served with lemon and pea risotto and Fresh Oysters with a ginger soy dressing, and Crayfish Avocado Ritz.
Mains range from lamb, pork and beef with dustings of seafood, plus hearty pastas and vegetarian options – Grilled Lamb Cutlets, Asian Pork Belly, 300g New York Cut Rump and Beetroot Gnocchi with beetroot hummus, sautéed spinach, mushrooms and walnuts. Their burgers promise to curb the biggest hunger with monsters like classic bacon, feta, avo ‘Moodie Burger’ and the Benedict Burger, which is kassler steak, poached egg and truffled hollandaise.
If you have space for dessert, make way for over the top milkshakes such as chocolate topped with mini brownies, honeycomb, flake, chocolate sprinkles and whipped cream, or strawberry with mini cupcakes, macaroons and sprinkles. Also available are the Miso- salted Caramel Apple Tart with black pepper anglaise, cinnamon crumble and vanilla ice cream as well as the Franken-pudding – Mini Lemon Meringue Doughnuts.
If you just feel like chilling poolside with some snacks, Shimmy’s beach menu will provide chilli poppers, samoosas and spring rolls, sushi and pizza.
No trip to Shimmy Beach Club is complete without a refreshing cocktail to wave off that summer heat. Choose from classics like Berry Mojito, Mai Tai or Tequila Sunrise and other signature cocktails, beer and wine.
There is also a kids menu available and a kids jungle gym and play area to keep them entertained.
