Secret Pop-up Restaurant

Slippery Spoon is a secret innovative pop up restaurant in Cape Town that only shows itself now and then at unique locations. All guests are guaranteed to leave inspired, flabbergasted and of course a little bit tipsy or most likely a-lot.

The event is hosted by Supper Lounge and will take place in a workshop by Samantha Morgan – a highly talented ceramic artist based near Bree Street. All supper guests will sit around her workshop table in the middle of her studio – enjoying delicious meals out of her ceramic plates and cups.

All courses will be paired by wines from Napier Winery located in the beautiful Wellington wine region.

This Supper Lounge event will be held on the 28th of March starting at 19h00. Tickets are R490 per person. Please reserve your seat in advance to avoid disappointment.

Each course prepared in a Pottery Oven – and will be paired with a matching wine from the Napier vineyard.

Bo-Kaap style Malay Chicken Breast baked in Pottery Clay served with Rose Buerre Blanc and an Ice Cold Wheat Beer served in Clay Cups. Hammer Supplied to get to your Chicken

Paired with Napier Chardonnay – a full bodied lemon buttery Chardonnay.

Southern Style Summer Peach and Berry cobblers served with home-made Beetroot Ice Cream

Served with Napier Potstill Brandy – lovely dried apricots and pear flavor.
