It’s the time of the year, where upmarket restaurants across the country will offer their menu at reduced prices either for lunch or dinner. Seats have to be pre-booked in advance through the Restaurant Week online portal.

Burger & Lobster on Bree Street

Burger & Lobster was founded in 2016 with the idea of going back to basics of a restaurant culture where people were offered only a few items that would get people talking – a burger, a lobster roll and fresh lobster.

Burger & Lobster has a world renouned cocktail bar offering the best original cocktails in Cape Town made with all home-made ingredients. It is a trendy and vibey place that gets people coming back. The Burger is made with highest quality natural beef and the Lobster is sustainable live lobster. Each dish developed the best it can be, surrounded with good people and great energy.

How to book?

This year, Burger & Lobster will be part of Restaurant Week (19 April – 6 May) again offering a lunch menu (2 courses) for only R200 per person as well as a three course dinner special for R300 per person. Book your seats now using foodblogvip.

Lunch Specials

MAIN COURSE

THE CAPE TOWN BURGER
A 180g, grass-fed, steak beef burger with streaky maple bacon and cheese,
served on a warm, toasted home-made brioche bun. Accompanied with
skinny fries and a mixed herb salad of croutons, red onions, Parmesan
cheese and a balsamic glaze.

OR

BUTTERMILK & SRIRACHA CHICKEN BURGER
Buttermilk fried organic chicken burger served with sriracha infused Japanese
mayonnaise accompanied by skinny fries and coleslaw.

OR

VEGETARIAN BURGER
Sautéed Lentils, carrots, mushrooms, baby marrow & onions seasoned with
mixed herbs. The patty is then covered in breadcrumbs, fried for a outside
crunchy effect and covered with 2 layers of cheese which is served on a
lovely toasted home-made brioche bun. Accompanied by skinny fries & side
salad.

DESSERT

NUTELLA & OREO CHEESECAKE
Our signature dessert! A home-made baked cheese cake consisting of layers
of Oreo cookies and Nutella chocolate.

STARTER

BACON MAC & CHEESE BASKET
Mac & cheese balls infused with maple bacon wrapped in oven baked phyllo
pastry.

MAIN COURSE

THE B&L BURGER
A 250g, grass-fed, steak beef burger with streaky maple bacon and cheese,
served on a warm, toasted home-made brioche bun. Accompanied with
skinny fries and a mixed herb salad of croutons, red onions, Parmesan
cheese and a balsamic glaze.

OR

TAGLIATA OF SIRLION
380g of 5 weeks matured, dry aged, grass fed sirloin on the bone, flame
grilled served tagliata style, topped with a rosemary, thyme & garlic infused
olive oil. Accompanied with skinny fries

OR

THE LOBSTER ROLL
Fresh, lobster dressed in a light home-made Japanese mayonnaise and onion
chives, served in a warm, toasted New England style brioche roll.
Accompanied with skinny fries and a mixed herb salad of croutons, red
onions, Parmesan cheese and a balsamic glaze.

DESSERT

NUTELLA & OREO CHEESECAKE
Our signature dessert! A home-made baked cheese cake consisting of layers
