Cape Town Fish Market is celebrating the start of summer with a festival at the V&A Waterfront for the whole family. Whether you love oysters, wine, live music, or just want to enjoy some great food, it’s got something for everyone to savour in the sunshine.
OYSTER & MCC BAR
Let the team at CTFM pour you a glass of bubbly and offer fresh local oysters they’re bringing in specially for the occasion in partnership with the Knysna Oyster Company.
OYSTER EATING COMPETITION (SATURDAY 28 OCTOBER)
If you’re a true oyster lover, put your oyster slurping skills to the test and take part in the competition to see who can eat the most oysters in 5 minutes! It’s shaping up to be a great show too. Entries available at the festival.

Live music will be playing throughout the day, with great headline acts every evening:

- SATURDAY 28 October @ 21:00: Arno Carstens
- SUNDAY 29 October @ 19:00: HotWater
FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD
Come and enjoy an amazing selection of food, with stalls featuring fish & chips, sushi, burgers, pizza, paella, calamari, mussels, and crayfish.
VIP ticket holders will also be treated to a 3 course meal from CTFM’s special set menu.
BEER TENT & DRINKS STALLS
In addition to the beer tent sponsored by SAB, there will be stalls featuring a range of drinks, including a brandy stall, vodka stall, gin stall, whisky stall and coffee.
SUPERVISED KIDS PLAY AREA
The festival location includes a separate, supervised kids play area with great activities for the young ones, including face painting and balloon shaping.
LOCATION AND PARKING
The Festival is hosted by the Cape Town Fish Market’s flagship V&A Waterfront store. Nearby parking is available at the Waterfront’s Silo District/Clock Tower.
