The Kitchen Collective’s interactive cooking classes had undergone somewhat of a makeover during the past few months with lockdown in place offering virtual online classes where we cooked along in the comfort of our own homes. We brought our own wines and enjoyed a fun night, but it’s not the same as making new friends while sharing a meal together in a fully equipped kitchen at The Kitchen Collective.
The Kitchen Collective is opening its doors again for more fabulous interactive cooking classes – under strict hygiene protocols.
Taste of Local with Liam Tomlin (22 April)

Liam Tomlin from the Chefs Warehouse Group will be demonstrating some of his favourite dishes from MAZZA, LA CANTINA & PINCHOS WINE BAR, the new restaurants hosted in the incredible new space LOCAL, on Heritage Square.
Curries from around the World (4 May)
- Join The Kitchen Collective for a whirl around flavour town as they catch a glimpse of the different flavours of world curries. The kitchen team has been to India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Seychelles and further.
Taste of Thali (29 May)
- A Thali inspired Menu that usually includes a complete meal consisting of 10 or more regional Indian dishes. A brand new experience for many, you’ll be enjoying a hand-on cooking demo at The Kitchen Collective.
All in-studio classes are R750 for 3 hours and include wine, water, gratuity and snacks on arrival. Temperatures will be taken at the door and each person with get their own cooking station with plenty of space for social distancing.
