Vivace Launches New Summer Menu at the Radisson Blu Sandton

The Radisson Blu Sandton is pleased to announce the launch of its brand new summer 2020 menu at the hotel’s Vivace restaurant.

The menu has created by the newly appointed head chef, Chef Tristan Latouf. Renowned for his signature, seasonal approach to dining, Chef Latouf has incorporated extraordinary local produce as a nod to his home country.

Guest’s may enjoy a fusion of international and authentical local flavours, such as a starter of Fairview goats’ cheese and homegrown plum tomato risotto, paired with a crisp glass of Klein Constantia Estate Sauvignon Blanc from the same region. Or a ‘Zamalek’ beer battered hake, hand-cut peppered potato chips and a Stoney Ginger Beer Mojito, with a lick of Hennessy.

Massive 800g Tomahawk steaks, matured for 31 days and sourced in the grassy plains of the Magaliesburg are sure to be a crowd pleaser and as any local will tell you, no steak is complete without with a proudly South African beer or full-bodied red. Chef recommends a classic beer shandy or Red Diemersdal Malbec 2018 to compliment the fine steak.

Ending off the meal with something sweet yet unusual, guests are treated to coconut encrusted, homemade marshmallows, paired with a glass of the 2016 Haute Cabriere Pinot Noir.

The perfect dining experience, overlooking the heart of the Golden Mile in Sandton.
