The Joburg Prawn Festival 2016

Do you love prawns as much as I do? 

The Jo’burg Prawn Festival will once again kick-start the first leg of the much loved SA Triple Crown on Saturday, 27 February. The annual festival is in its fifth year and is well known for drawing thousands of patrons to Turffontein Racecourse.

In addition to the thrilling horse racing on offer, Saturday, 27 February will see the return of the ever popular Jo’burg Prawn Festival where tons of king prawns will be sold for just R85 a 1/2 kilo with chips or rice. Live entertainment in the beer garden will offer adults hours of fun whilst the younger generation will have free access to the kiddies entertainment area available on-course.
