The Hussar Grill Makes the Eat Out 500 not once, but four times!

Eat Out has listed four of The Hussar Grill restaurants in the Eat Out 500.

The Eat Out 500 is a power list of prominent restaurants across the country, rated by a panel of 50 food and restaurant industry experts.

The top 500 restaurants were listed in the 2019 issue of the Eat Out Guide Magazine, which also lists the notable winners of the 2018 Eat Out Awards, including the Top 10 Best Restaurants in South Africa.

The Hussar Grill restaurants in Camps Bay, Mouille Point and Willowbridge – all located in Cape Town – made it into the top 500. The fourth to make the list is based in Morningside, Johannesburg. All four of The Hussar Grill restaurants were commended for their aged-to-perfection cuts of meat, classically delicious sauces and well-versed service.

In addition to being rated for their famous meat dishes, all four restaurants were praised for various other elements. Camps Bay, for its “steakhouse specialties” such as the deep-fried camembert with cranberry jelly and the sherry-garlic chicken livers. Mouille Point, for its plump mussels in herb, wine and cream sauce, classic atmosphere and Béarnaise sauce. Willowbridge, for its fish offering as well as the ostrich in apple schnapps and wild berry sauce. Lastly, The Hussar Grill in Morningside was lauded for its juicy burger and baked cheesecake.

These placements in the Eat Out 500 speak to the consistently impressive and well-rounded experience The Hussar Grill offers. By placing not only once but four times, The Hussar Grill promises an extraordinary dining experience – at any and all of its restaurants.
