Fireside Talk with Madeleine Fullard at Maropeng

Join Maropeng for the first edition of their fireside talks, which will feature Madeleine Fullard, head of the Missing Persons Task Team in the National Prosecuting Authority.

Her talk, titled “Searching for lost bones. Bringing the lost ones home“, will take place at Maropeng on the 15th of June.

Date: Wednesday 15 June 2016
Time: 6.30pm for 7pm
Venue: Hominin House, Maropeng

“How much your death matters reflects on the value of your life,” says Fullard. It is this principle that underlies her work, which is to find people who have disappeared as a result of the political conflicts of the apartheid era. Much of this entails the identification of their remains.
