A visit to Backsberg Wine Estate is not complete without their cheese and chocolate wine pairings and or under the trees at the Backsberg restaurant.
Join them on Christmas Day, 25 December, from 12-4pm for a generous buffet lunch.
Prepare to be spoiled with hearty roasted meats to traditional desserts, homemade breads, pâtés, basil pesto and hummus to start and lamb on the spit with gravy, mint sauce and cranberry jelly, glazed gammon, roast chicken, smoked salmon terrine, bacon and rosemary quiches, mini chicken and beef pies and bacon diablos for mains, and a scrumptious selection of side dishes as well as customary trifle and several other desserts.
Lunch will be served from 12h00, but for those who want to start the festivities a little earlier with a wine tasting, the Backsberg tasting room will be open from 10h00.
