The Spier Farm Kitchen is the collection point for guests who have ordered a pre-made picnic basket online.
Whether you make your own or have ordered a pre-made basket, you’re welcome to picnic wherever you choose. From sitting along the banks of the tranquil Eerste River, under the giant oak on the Werf, or in full view of the Helderberg mountains beside the Spier Dam, there are a whole host of spots to choose from.
Although the picnic spaces are public, group bookings can be accommodated in semi-private areas if booked in advance. Blankets can be hired from the Spier Farm Kitchen.
Options include vegetarian and children’s baskets and must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance at www.spierpicnics.co.za . The baskets can be collected between 12.00 and 14.00.
